I’m a student events promoter!

I’ve recently been given a job as a rep/promoter for a company called Lowercase Events (Bournemouth) now that I have relocated for University. I’m really excited about this as it gives me the chance to meet new people and get involved with events, whilst earning a little bit of cash on the side.

I will be selling physical tickets to students for specific events and also repping online. Currently, there are four events I’m repping:

Times Red – Not Listening

I’ve been a fan of Times Red ever since they stepped out onto the stage for their X Factor audition,  and not just because they look good (below). As well as vocalists and musicians, Staz Nair, Scott Ritchie and Luke White are all songwriters, giving Times Red’s songs’ a unique style.

Their long-awaited debut single Not Listening (due out on 4th August) is an up-beat, pop song, great for the summertime. I love the track’s laid-back vibe created by the group’s acoustic sound. From being the ‘underdogs’ on the X Factor, the boys have come back proving that now the time is right for Times Red.
